Is there going to be a version for this that works on SP1, or is SP1a required?
I've forwarded your question to the guys at ITHit. Here's the reply from Vladimir Lichman:

We do not plan to build WAE version for MCMS SP1. We received very little amount of requests for SP1 support. Most users prefer to upgrade to SP1a before installing new software. The upgrade is usually simple and users do
not have any problems with it.

So if you are planning to use ITHit, go for SP1a, which would be a better idea since its a more recent release and includes more fixes.
